September 2026: 27 cleanups, 295 bags and a community on the move

In September 2026, the Un Sacco Pulito community documented 27 cleanups, collecting 295 bags and involving 14 active people, teams or organisations. Beaches, woods, roads, parks, trails and a river: many places, one shared practical action.
The five pages that provide an explicit weight document at least 607.77 kg of waste. This is not a conversion from bags: it is the sum of kilograms stated on those individual pages only. The other 22 cleanups have no structured kg value. The La Maddalena and Caprera page also describes around two tonnes, but that figure is approximate and remains separate from the verified total.
The sixth edition of “Insieme per il creato” at Lido di Volano brought around 50 volunteers to the beach near the Po river mouth, recording 470 kg and 90 bags. Summit Foundation's Clean-Up Tour ITA passed through Lana, Racines, Weissenstein and La Robella, recording weights, participant numbers and cigarette butts. More than 60 volunteers worked across 12 areas of La Maddalena and Caprera, while Ass. Greenbassi made a hiking-plogging action along the Via Francigena from Gambassi Terme to Castelnuovo.
